该片为上海电影制片厂1999年拍摄制作的，其主要剧情为：故事发生在1873年清同治十二年上海金桂元大舞台，讲述了一代京剧名伶杨月楼和林宛云、周慧娟、洪月娇的生死恋情，及遭到黑暗腐败的满清政府迫害，浓重的悲情色调加深了这部片子的思想内涵。故事曲折复杂，情节跌宕起伏，扣人心弦。爱恨情仇，生死离别，加上京剧等外在的表现形式，使全片别有一种震撼人心的力量。武打设计亦别具匠心。 展开全部
