Samuel Byck is a middle-aged furniture salesman who despises deceit and has estranged relationships with his brother due to its requirement in his job. He longs to start a small business repairing tires with his black friend Bonny Simmons, but they struggle to obtain a small business loan promised by President Nixon's program. After months of waiting, during which his wife files for divorce and he loses his job, Samuel's last hope for his future is dashed. He steals a gun from Bonny and attempts to hijack a plane to crash into the White House in a desperate attempt to gain attention and bring awareness to his troubled life. 展开全部
