A crazy man initially has feelings of fondness towards his neighbor, who is an elderly man with an intimidating gaze that unsettles the man. Over time, the crazy man develops animosity towards his neighbor and devises a meticulous plan to carry out a crime against him one night. The following morning, two police officers arrive at the crazy man's doorstep after hearing a distressing noise during the previous night. Despite feeling troubled, the man ushers the officers inside, cooperates with their questioning, and allows one of them to scrutinize his eyes. The officer declares the man innocent.
