Charles Dickens' classic novel is brought to life through a musical adaptation that follows the transformative journey of a bitter old miser named Ebenezer Scrooge. He despises Christmas, hates people, and shows no sympathy towards the poor population. As the owner of a bank, he exploits his employee, Bob Cratchit, and clients alike, while treating his own family and acquaintances with bitterness. However, everything changes on Christmas Eve, when the ghost of his deceased partner, Jacob Marley, warns Scrooge of his impending doom. Three spirits, the past, present, and future of Christmas, visit Scrooge to show him the error of his ways. The spirit of Christmas Past shows him the love he lost due to his greed, the spirit of Christmas Present reveals the hardship of Bob's family, and the spirit of Christmas Future unveils his fate. Scrooge realizes that life is too short to be lived miserably and how important it is to cherish those around us.
