"Brandy Kirby and Vincent Mailer, a corrupt lawyer, hatched a plan to scam William and Maida McIntyre by creating a false identity for their long-lost son. Brandy tricked Lefty Farrell, a gambler, into posing as that missing son. After meeting Lefty through Kathy, the McIntyre's niece who had a crush on him, the elderly couple believed that he was their real son, but they refused to change their will.
