此前，受好莱坞演员编剧工会罢工影响，好莱坞影视项目的拍摄宣传都陷入停滞，但部分独立制片公司的电影得到临时豁免，包括卡莉·史派妮、雅各布·艾洛蒂主演的《普瑞希拉》，亚当·德赖弗、帕特里克·德姆西参演的《法拉利》，“麦子叔”麦斯·米科尔森主演的《恶棍》，“劳模姐”杰西卡·查斯坦主演的《记忆》以及卡赖伯·兰德里·琼斯主演的《爱犬男》等。这些演员预计都将出席本次威尼斯电影节，为影片进行宣传。
